History

New Lisbon Family Campground has come a long way since the days in the 70s when there were only a handful of campsites and a single wood area dirt lane back to the lake. Although the wooded area lane still exists today, there are several graveled lanes leading to the lake, all lined with camping sites. The campground has grown to an area of 50 partially wooded acres.

The campground has grown to an area of 50 partially wood acres, with 20 acres of woods, 14 acres of grass, and a 10-acre spring fed stocked fishing and swimming lake. A beach, basketball, volleyball, playground, horseshoe area, shelter house, laundry room, modern showers and flushing toilets. 75ft graveled pull-through sites on an angle with all full hook-ups (approximately 25W x 75L).

In 2004, Don and Gloria became the new owners of the campground. Seasoned campers themselves, they took on the task of revamping and campground to its existence today. With lots of hard work and dedication they have restored the Family Camping experience to this family-friendly campground, upgrading such things as utilities, sites, internet, and roads, all the while maintaining its core of providing a fun relaxing family camping environment.

New Lisbon Family Campground is an excellent, relaxing home-style atmosphere, from sitting under a shade tree, paddle boating across the lake, fishing, basketball to bingo.
